Trystons Surgery

Hello all! Tryston had his surgery and all went well. The doctor sent off his gland and stone for testing to make sure he doesn't have cancer or anything but they do not expect any problems. The only problem we had was a typical Gifford problem of not wanting to wake up after anesthesia and once he did getting sick. The first two days were a little frustrating as he had the drain tube and bag atached which as you can image was not comfortable and wasn't the most fun to have to drain but, we made it through. Once Tryston realized they were going to "cut" his stitch and "pull" out the tube without any pain meds or without putting him under... he decided he would rather leave it in and was not cooperative at all when they tried to take it out- HE WANTED ME to take out the tube, once they realized I was qualified they of course let me but, it was a little strange to say the least. We are on day three and he has not had any of the GOOD pain meds all day, we have gone to plain tylenol now. We will let you know as soon as we get the biopsy back. We appreciate all the thoughts, phone calls and prayers !

I'm glad he's doing well, and I'm glad you started to blog. The boys liked seeing the pictures of Tryston this morning. Keep posting!
